So my blaster is starting to get a crack on the hood near the latch. I know it's a common place for it to happen and it often breaks off. I've never done any fiberglass repair or re-inforcement. What do you guys suggest for the repair?

Depending in how big the repair is west also sells repair kits for pretty cheap. I think I bought one to repair cracking handlepole for like $10.00. It has the resin, hardener, filler, brush, spatula and glass in one package. the packets of resin and hardener come premeasured so theres no mistakes.I think they have a larger kit for $25.00

if you go to the hardware section of the visser site it shows the whole underside of the hood with text saying extra fiberglass.

I re-inforced only the lip on the hood. If I had a spare hood, or the time to take mine apart, I'd glass in the entire thing. For average to mildy hard riding, I'd say reinforcing just the lip is sufficient. In fact, short of pancaking backflips, the rest of the hood should be just fine.

If you plan on trying rolls, you might want to consider re-inforcing the inside like a superjet.
