Blackjacks

I have been thinking of ordering a blackjack 44 for my freestyle ported 735 61X, pipe, lightened FW, ADA head, etc, but I'm worried about a few things.

1. I've got my ski dialed in to what seems to be pretty crisp, but have always heard great reviews on Arts carbs. Do these carbs provide performance Gains, or do most run them just for the ease of jetting and what not?

2. I would have to use an aftermarket flame arrestor he said, but is there any way the factory one would fit? I am not a fan of the AM arrestors as all they seem to cause is water ingestion. Is there any way to modify the blackjacks to work with the factory arrestor for those of you running them?

3. Would y'all recommend sticking with the 44mm or looking into going to a bit larger carb? I mentioned my future plans to going to a 62T style motor and he mentioned the 44's are good for 1000cc's and down in most cases. So by purchasing one now and running it I would only need one more at the time I switch to a 62T. But, it seems a lot of people with 61x go to 46mm's?

Highly recommend blackjack carbs, all I've ever used and no going back now!

Currently got two, both are single 46 blackjacks...

I know the stock boxes are the best for the water issue but with I just run taucetti FA with a frog screen over it as a prefilter and it works well for keeping water out

Get a 46. I have always liked black jacks. Had two 46's on a 850 and it was perfect. Two 44's on a 771 was nice too.

Yeah, I've modded my hood to help keep water out, but wasn't sure if there were other options for using the stock. I've seen the 701 ind ones, but figured it would be worth a shot seeing if I could make the oems work..would a single 44 or 46 be better?
