I'm sure Art would give you a straight up answer about how long till he can ship. He's a great dude to deal with...too bad all of them aren't as easy to talk to and get hold of.

He has had my carb for over two months now and I have called him three times and he keeps telling me it will ship but has not shipped yet,that was 3 weeks ago. I have heard alot of good things about him. I guess im the only exception. He told me 2 weeks when I sent them off and has lied to me three times now.I just wish he would give me a straight up answer.

Custom work takes time.
He may have had 2 week lead time when you talked to him but by the time your parts got there he may have recieved 10 engines, 15 orders for new Blackjacks, 6 shipments of carbs to modify all before he can touch yours.

I think he is just a little behind right now. I am sure he is not trying to lie to you. My motor is down there right now and he is telling me it was going to be a few extra weeks. Not a big deal to me I am not in a hurry for it yet.

Tyler, email him and phone calls usually get answered between 11 and 12 in the morning and 6 and 7 in the evening. Nearly all of our comm is done this way and at these times.
