black dye epoxy for laying carbon in hull?

Hey

if anyone could help me with a few things with laying the final layer of carbon kev. it 2x2 twill, 5.7 oz.
very light and malleable now that Ive "smoothed out" my Js 550 hull.

some tips, pointers would be nice

Moved to better sub forum. Sorry, I haven't worked any with carbon.

There are clear resins that can result in a visual carbon finish. What are you trying to accomplish with the dye? What is your goal for the visual finish of the project.

I've used the West System they have a Water clear hardner , finish doesn't turn the yellow as normal resin

In side hull ... out side hull ? Going for a visual look ? If using carbon why dye the resin black.
