Greg rode it in Daytona and liked everything but foothold placement, wrong for his stance.

yeah with it like that the straps are hard to put in a universal position, they work good for me, but i wouldn't mind another 2 on there for a more aggressive surf stance. Lately i have been thinking of making some removable gunwalls, just for those days i miss the holds.

edit: didnt mean to jack your thread here BMB.
what other plans do you have for the square? whats the engine setup?

A little itchy no?:spankme:

got all the foam out! sealed everything thing up with rain buster, this stuff is great, use it at work all the time, little spendy but worth it it will adhere to anything, we use it to seal up our duct work and stacks on industrial painbooths. also added 2, 1-1/2" internal one way valves or scuppers, as some of us call them, kinda at a stand still on what to do to seal them in though, any suggestions?

so what? put a pvc coupler on the end of the abs, where it goes through the ass end and the bulkhead? then 5200 to seal both?

If you used ABS pipe, then use pvc/abs cement(regular Oatey pvc cement from Home depot or wherever) to connect the pvc and abs. Then 5200 the pvc to the hull. It wont hurt to get some 5200 on the abs too, but it supposedly wont bond right.
Good luck!

tray sealed up and half foamed, waiting on more material.
also did a little shaping on the hood, not real happy with it, gonna cut the sides lower so im able to get a rounder slope from bottom to top, also had a friend make up a side exhaust and a sn to rn handpole bracket and backing plate. all high grade aluminum, welds are a little bulky but i think the parts look great, hopefully they perform as well

got the hood reshaped, used rough florist foam for the form, its sand really easy and was a piece of cake to shape the way i wanted. also got the inside of the hull reinforced, 2 layers on the side walls and one one the hull bed.
