Bought a 2014 hull today for a decent price but it is genuinely molested. I suspect the original owner got the backflip itch, bought a brand new superjet, f'ed it up trying to backflip with a big motor, realized there's no way, then bought an aftermarket hull.. I'm here trying to de-f-it-up. Open to suggestions or thoughts.
So first issue.. I think the guy was running a power factor pipe or something, I don't know. The fact is that my battery box mounting boss threads are filled in with what seems like epoxy. I'm thinking my only option here is to cut out those bosses and glass in new mounts. What do you think?
Next issue is the awesome trim cable hole going through my bulkhead to the pump. My plan is to try and run a tube with water fittings on each end to be able to run a stock siphon and dual cooling at the same time. Not sure where to source tubing or how to seal this puppy off without completely cutting out my tray. Although I may end up having to do that anyway because the footholds in it right now are being cut out. Those appear to be professionally done, though. Not expecting issues with those.
Thanks for helping me out
