In March 2020 I purchased a complete Yamaha 701cc 61x with electronics, muffler, carburetor out of a '96 waverunner from @BIRDMAN to put in our '94 SN SJ which we bought not knowing that a 650 had been put in it.
We have ridden the ski with the BIRDMAN engine extensively since then and the engine has worked perfectly.
BIRDMAN described the compression and the engine's condition accurately. The engine was in excellent condition. He packed the engine well and sent it cross country to me without incident.
