Bilge switch - How to route the wire

Hi,

I have just purchased a new superjet 2015. I'm installing a bilge mainly as i use it in salt water and in washing the engine after use it would be better to pump the water out rather than sponge it. When I get more experienced it will also be useful.

Can someone please explain the best way to route the switch wire down the pole to the battery/bilge. The difficult part looks to be passing the wire through the rubber seal on the hull?

Most people remove the stock gas tank breather line that routes through the handle pole bellow. This frees up a space for the bilge switche to pass through.

Does the stock breather line just get block off? I can't image that mine breathes that much as i can hear the air rush by when i undo the fuel cap.

Pull it out of the pole and let it breath in the engine bay. The line up in the pole will fill with water and choke the rule supply. SO just venting it in the engine bay that won't happen. It also gives you the room to run a bilge wire.
