Bilge Questions

I recently picked up a 2016 superjet and am new to jetskis from motocross.

Ive been advised to install a bilge pump before riding.

I saw OCD solutions has kits for wiring that look like an awesome solution. I cant message him yet based on my profile.
Does anyone know if hes still making these?

Ive been looking at a single manual rule pump with the yamaha bar switch.

Regarding install, I dont want to remove the engine. Is it possible to install without doing so? Is all this necessary for a beginner?

I would say don’t worry about it for now, the ski has a factory bilge that sucks water out as you ride. Once you start doing submarines and tricks that get a lot of water in the hull fast then do the bilge. If u do install just remove the plastic cover over the shaft at back of ski and use some 5200 or something strong to glue the bilge bracket down to hull. Ruff up the area with some heavy grit paper first

I really really like the fully auto 1100GPH rule. A little bigger but use 3M 5200 to glue them down and then wire them in and never ever think about it again until next time you need one (6 seasons here). They need the 1 1/8 flex tube and the 1 1/8" bypass that you can only get from jetworks if I remember correctly...
