Super Jet bilge pumps keep running after switch is turned off.

Definitely the switch. Corrosion and water will make those things act real funny. Just replace it if you need the switch. I run my bilge 100% of the time so I just connect the fuse before I ride and leave it but even then I have to replace the fuse every few months because they corrode as well and make wierd contact.

same thing happened on my 440, the day i installed it, went riding/kept the switch in the hull/ water hit it, and i would beach it and come back and hear the buzzing, and sure enough it was pumping while turned off
 
i gotta replace one of my rules, its like 5 yrs old, the casing looks to be warped, it works fine if u hold it upside down then if u put it like it suppose to b the fan snags on the plastic piece, its like the whole assembly inside drops down no biggie.
