bilge pump wiring

i was just wondering where did you guys hook up the bilge cables? did you go stright to the batery or to the electrical box on the ski. will put one in this weekend and trying to get some ideas. thanks

Both of mine run right from the battery(both fused).

I brought mine straight out the box... yo. figure one less wire to fidget with when removing the battery. It's coming through the e-box where the temp sensor wires used to be, ideal since most people aren't using these wires and grommet. Ground is connected the same bolt the battery ground is connected to on or near the starter.

Wow, never would have thought of going to the electrical box. ANYTHING I can do to avoid opening that thing....

Just run it to the battery with a waterproof (not water resistant) fuse.
