Bulkhead...Just make sure you drill the hole close to the bulge pump and out of the way of your pipe.:cool2:

I don't care how clean you keep the bildge, I wouldn't put the outlet on the dash. I wouldn't buy the auto bildge either. I have had bettter luck with a Willwood pumps over the Rules.
You can buy an install kit frome rule but I think it is over priced, and it does not come with a nice exit fitting, some big white fitting. Get a nice billet piece from Riva or Blowsion and a switch and get a $10 pump from Wallmart.

I didn't have any good pics but it is the little silver piece in the mid section of the ski.

I 2nd that ^^ Except he ment to say attwood bilge pumps. Because what if you had a fuel leak your pumps would pump that right out on your legs... Not for me...

My ski had pissers installed on the top of the rails just behind the hood. I removed thoes and installed straight bilge fittings. They are angled out so water in the tray shouldn't be a problem. I installed twin 500 Attwood pumps glued to the hull with new fittings and a used switch for less than the single cheapo setup with that funky bracket.

The Good Old Days
As the controversy over bilge outlets rages on I have mine in the dash and have never had a problem with a slippery tray.
I spray my motor down HEAVY with T-9 and WD-40 from time to time, had a major fuel leak in Daytona (forgot to tighten the fuel filler hose), yet the tray stays non-slip. :dunno:

Get the manual Attwood pumps from Wally world, drill the hole for outlet above the waterline as close to the bilge pump as possible (the longer the hose the less they pump per hour), ride on.

Here's where I have mine cheep a$$ plastic fittings, right in the dash.
In the winter it's nice to swamp the ski just to get some warm water on your frost bitten feet.

I"ll pick up an attwood. Does it come with a switch? where do you mount the switch on the bars??

I will also order up a aluminum fitting!

whats the advantages to haveing 2 versus one pump? and what kind of glue do u glue them down with?

Wouldn't even bother with a switch on a standup... just wire one of these in and pull the fuse when not riding. They have them at Walmart in the auto section.

I bought a $5 switch from an auto parts store and a $2 rubber boot and sealed the whole thing up really good with 5200. I have done 2 this way now and both still work great. one is going on 2 years.

I have a Rulemate 750. Mounted it with 3M 5200 next to the drive shaft. Hardwired it to the battery. Fully automatic. Haven't had a problem yet. I don't understand why you want to dump the outlet into the tray, but whatever - just make sure it's somewhere above the waterline.

I dont run a switch anymore either on my black boat, ive got 2 wires sticking out, and the ends are stripped and tinned with solder, and bent into hook.

I simply hook them together.

thats been the most reliable, and cheapest switch out of all the ones ive tried.

WARNING, it will shock you in saltwater, or so ive heard, in freshwater though its no problem, in fact sometimes, its helpful on those cold water rides to get your breath back after you fall.
