Bilge Pump Outlet Location on SN

Where have you installed your bilge pump outlet fitting?
I am thinking of installing mine on the starboard side, back close to the tray, just above the exhaust hose. Would that work?

Also will a 45 fitting work, or does it need to be a straight?

That will do just fine, that's where I have mine. You want it as high as possible, but remember to leave just a enough room on the inside to get the nut on the fitting.

Straight or 45 is strictly preference, although I typically see straight fittings...maybe less chance of getting knocked because it is mounted flush.
