The easiest and best solution would be to just cut the rails off and mod it how the Aquacart is. The design is much simpler and it will fit any ski with no modifications at all. Just set the ski on it. It would be dirt simple to make also. Icant link it from my phone or I'd post a picture.

I have a b1 cart so my SJ and x2 used to fall through. It's now 15.75" on center. Not perfect, 12" on center would be ideal I think, but this took $10 in hardware, a drill and less than 30 minutes.works good.

I just called the people that make the tote and they're shipping me the tubing for about $15 shipped. I also bought a couple of the quick release pins to replace the bolts. Now I'll just find a local welder to weld them on in the right place. Will post a picture when I'm done with the mod.

Yeah, they're 2.25" square which is hard to find. I couldn't find it very easy on the net which is what prompted me to just call them.

My cart was $150 on Craigslist. Jet lift looks like a great product, but my repair is a hours pay, the weld suggestion is about 2-3 hours pay, and you suggestion is about 40-50 hours pay.

Got mine for $60. Put a tube in one tire and welded $12 worth of aluminum flat stock on it. Lol.

My reply was to @Vumad referencing to bolt a short piece like I linked in between the existing receiver and the bunk uprights to get them closer. Not meant to be a new welded receiver.

Well, I dropped off the tote and the new parts and the guy is welding them on today. I'll be picking it up on the way home after work tonight. I hope this guy didn't screw it all up. lol Like I said, I'll post some pictures later tonight.

When I called the people that make the tote they told me to mount the new posts 1/2" to the inside of the existing ones. The welder put in a 1/2" spacer between them and welded everything up. Here are the pictures. Super happy with how it turned out. I also got the quick clips for them too so I can move them around easily as well.
