big bore with stock crank?

i have a few question i can't seem to find an answer. i was wondering if i can use a big bore with stock crank, woud this work? i'm slowing building a 62t engine, for my SN, also wondered if i can put bigbore sleaves in a 61x cylinders? what i was thinking from searches was 62t cases, stock crank, 61x cylinders with big bore sleaves going to 85mm pistons. would it work? looking to get as much as i can with the funds i have.if it works would dual 38's or 44's or 46's work best?

thanks.

Big bore + stock crank= Yes
Big bore sleeves + 61x cylinder= Yes
62T cases, stock crank, 61x big bore, 85mm= Yes
38's, 44's or 46's= No. (I would personally do 48's)

Your best bet would be to call up or email a good engine builder.
He'll set you straight on what you need/can do on your budget.

I ran 85.5mm 61x on top of 62t with ADA head, stock crank and stock carbs with Factory "B" pipe It ran perfectly for years. Set your carbs as per Factory Pipe settings for 701 with the exception of changing the mains to 142.5.

The top half of the cases will need to be relieved to accept the big bore sleeves.

Allstock is still running this setup in his sj. Hits hard and is 100% reliable.

BTW, Group K did the machining and porting complete with pistons and gaskets for around $1000. I did the assembly myself.
