click on examine the F1000, then the yellow bullseye in front of the sled.

1,000cc twin, batteryless FI, 50mm throttle bodies, 168.5 HP & 120 pounds feet of torque - STOCK! I bet if we could get Paul to mod the porting for low end it'd still make 140HP. All you'd have to do is make a bedplate & custom coupler, mount the electronic box & viola!

It'd have decent fuel consumption & run on pump gas!

I bet Tricky could do it too.....:sneaky:

Yeah, you'd have to go to a single pipe & lose a bit of HP. Maybe just chop up one stock pipe to get it to fit & fabricate an exhaust manifold.

that would be really cool, how about cooling? arnt those run by closed loop thermostat regulated cooling? what company is making artic cats engines right now? is it still suzuki?

there was a 550 head on ebay that had that same set up.... some ppl said it was for rapid change if you fouled a plug but i kinda doubt that... especially if this head comes iwth 4 plugs stock.... maybe they just want more spark in the cylinder?

Snowmobiles make more hp yes. Did you check out at what RPM the engine was making power at? Watercraft need torque down low and don't have a clutch. A pwc pump is not all that efficient after about 8k rpm so making peak power at 8500 is usless. I will say that many of the snowmobile port configs kick butt, and I wish that pwc would have used more of there performance designs. Oh well.

D-Roc, that thing IS sick! I'd sure like to get a look at one of those cylinders....

AAEN triple pipes are only $7-800! WITW is FPP charging soooo much for a B-Pipe!:poke:
