Don't do the rubbermaid bins. Put it in the tightest fitting box you can find. Wrap the motor in a trash bag first and spray great stuff foam to fill the box. Tape it up good. Then put that box in another box with more padding of whatever type you like. Multiple layers of protection.

Or you can build a wooden crate for it with 1/2 in plywood and then do the plastic bag and great stuff in that.

The plastic bins will crack and break and the motor will be damaged. Ask me how I know. I even reinforced the top and bottom with plywood but the sides busted out.

It would come to about $55 shipping a 62t shortblock from LA to Chicago in a 18x18x18 moving box from walmart while mounting the engine on a cradle made of ply and 4x4 using usps, the package would weigh about 65lbs. I shipped a 6m6 short block about 300 miles this way insured for $36

I had a motor shipped to me in a rubbermaid tote......the tote was cracked pretty bad by the time it got here.

Its got to be one of the good flexible blue rubbermaid containers, the rest are garbage.

A piece of plywood on the bottom goes a long ways too.

I received my SS865 from X-Scream in one and then turned around and shipped a 701 clear across the country in it without issue.

i dont suggest ups they break everything fedex is better. Make sure you pack the heck out of it. Dasa sent me cylinders in a cardboard box wrapped in bubble wrap and it came broken. For a cylinder that cost 2800 I would put more effort into packaging but they don't agree so now I gotta wait another 4 weeks. I like to use the blue cooler 30qt with wheels and an extending handle its thick it rolls and you can put beer in it
