What do you guys think is the best way to make buckets for hand holds?

the 24/7 hood I have does not have handholds and i would like to install a set so i can take my hood on and off lol.

I was thinking about forming foam and then using it to make a mold for making some glass buckets.

any other ways?

Use one of those disposable plastic food containers. Find one the right size, tip it upside down and layup your fiberglass over the top. When it's cured the container will pop right out - the epoxy won't bond to the plastic. Sometimes you have to flex them a bit to get them to break loose, but it will come off no problem.

This is what I did and it works well.

I left my hood at tom21's shop, when I came back there were some buckets magically installed.

That bastard (tom21) I got my hood from him and there was only one hand hold...Call tom (727) 560-1872..
Hey Tm why do you have hand holds? So when someone steals you hood from you front yard they will have and easy way to carry it and not drop it??

Yes the idea of tupper wear dish sliced to size works great...

I have a set of drop in buckets for SJ RN $ 50 Shipped , I need to send you pics thus they have been repaired in bucket ( thats how received from wamiltons ) never used.

If the outside on the bucket does not fit up like on SN's you can utilize 750 kawasakis and heat them up with heat gun and mold them.

I have made my own buckets with cartboard and ducttape ..biccchhhh, and also utilized the plastic tuberware ....bitchhhh all works but a lot easier to drop and glue and then just reinforce
