Best places to ride in Florida?

I might be going to Florida for spring break march 17-27 for a "family vacation" (i love still being in highschool and having parents pay for vacations!)but anyways my brother and I might drive if we can get enough money and bring the skiis:fingersx: . Just wondering where some places are to ride the ocean? We will be staying in CoCoa Beach area.

For surf, there are many hot spots, from north to south:

Hugenot in Jacksonville, Vilano in St. Augustine, the PWC zones in Daytona/New Smyrna, Ponce Inlet between Daytona & New Smyrna, & Sebastion Inlet in Melbourne. You should search here & PWCToday.com (for more history) regarding these areas.

Make sure you have a riding buddy who knows the ocean & has a tow rope. You'll need tow loops front & rear and a helmet would be a good idea. A $60 (shipped) full face BMX helmet protects those expensive teeth & doesn't weigh much when wet.:wink:

I got a fly freeride helmet already. About a riding partner, it would just be me and my bro unless anyone else was there? I guess we can put some hopes in our ski tho! Anything else that I need if I come?

A wet suit, the water's pretty cold now! Also make SURE you obey any signs , laws or rules relating to turtle nesting/manatees, etc. They can give out some $$$ tickets....
