It doesn't matter what others Are running because the best oil is a IMO subject. Look at what is available to you locally and then go to the Website and look up some specs and what the oil was designed for. Pick your oil and run it then
Swear up and down by it like the rest of us

Now if that ain't the dumbest thing I have ever heard.....

It don't even make sense......

Do you run quitsilver in your motor??????

Several years ago Crammit and I took several sticks of rebar, cleaned ALL the rust off of them and then coated each of them with different 2 stroke oils, tagged them, placed them on a brick in his backyard and left them. I think they are still there. The one that is still clean this many years later is the one coated in Benol. The ones coated in 927, Super M, Dominator, and Quitsilver all started rusting quickly...........

Not a very scientific test-but hey........

I am a little bias for a few reasons great product, San Diego Based company, and Friends with the owners.

Not sure what you are getting at..

So I guess if you plan on putting your engine in the backyard with the head removed for a few years, Benol is the oil to run? :dunno:
Thanks for that pro-tip.

I forgot!
Reebar. Lol. You not suppose to get any oil on reebar. I use interceptor because it is the same color as gas and I never know for sure if I mixed it or not. No guts no glory.

So when I got my ski from the original owner he ran super-m since it was new in 1990 but I can't buy it local so I started running royal purple tcwIII but where I buy it they charge 16.99 for a quart which I think is ridiculous. So I was thinking of buying a case of oil for the summer for the new motor in it. So cant decide between...

royal purple tcwIII $160
royal purple tcwIII racing $170
maxima castor 927 $199
maxima super-m $149
amsoil dominator $120 (12 quarts)
amsoil intercepter $120 (12 quarts)
klotz benol $133
klotz R50 $147
klotz super techniplate $123

They are all cases of 10 except amsoil's

Benol and dominator are at the top of my list!

Is there any down sides to running benol?

Its nasty, more difficult to mix and keep mixed, and has less corrosion protection. Usually not a problem though. A 3% mix of TCW3 will work fine in everything but a dry piped race boat.
