best method to clean gas tank

whats the best procedure to clean out the gas tank on my x2 that is full of gum and varnish (old gas) ??

i was thinking some fuel inj. cleaner/additive, then some gas pumped in from the station and alot of rags and alot of patience?? anyone know of pointers or cleaners maybe that could make this easier ?

A little brake cleaner, some simple green and flush with water.

Let air dry.

i figured brake cleaner would loosen the gunk, i have used it on dirty powervalves and cylinders.

so spray a little brake cleaner and then some simple green mixed up together? is there a specific order, or additional tips ?

Just last week my wife caught me in the bath tub having personal pleasures with my gas tank. It looked like crap inside and out. I scrubbed the crap out of outside w/SOS pads and used oven cleaner on inside-----DO NOT LEAVE THE OVEN CLEANER IN VERY LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
now my tank looks like new!
