Freestyle Best limiting rope? Looking to buy one tonight. Which should I choose?

The options are many and I am short on time (wife is leaving town with her debit card shortly). Looked at Blowsion, Wamiltons, Jetmaniac, etc. If you were buying a limiting rope, which would you buy?

I do find the pricing differences a little strange. Wamiltons is over $50 while others are $40 or less.

Any others I should look at? I'm looking to pull the trigger tonight, so I know this is kind of late in the game to be asking here.

I imagine anyone of those brands are fine.....I made three limiting ropes using all SS hardware and it cost me $30 plus i still have rope left over.

there is also the ATP one and thats probably the highest priced one at $65

im a believer in you get what you pay for, the ATP set up comes with all the stainless hardware you need, stainless d-loop and backing plate, the ropes are marine grade and it has been tested

some of the lower cost and home made ones "may" work, probably because they have never been called into action, but who wants to risk it failing when you actually need it

My homemade rope took 2,186 pounds of pulling force before it broke, so I'm sure its strong enough. But there is nothing wrong with buying one if you dont have the know how/patients or whatever.

I made all mine and they are really nice. Look really great, get exactly what you want color and all, strong enough to tow with. the rope itself never cost more that $10. Most expencive part is the I-bolts/ u-bolts you attatch to the ski.

I broke one with my chest and then the hardware with my leg. Im about to be anti limiting rope. I'd rather break my pole than myself.

The way mine is set up there is only one place that you would even be able to come in contact with the rope or hardware and that is at the lower tray mount. If it was an issues of me hitting it (some people have mentioned they do) then I would say move it to the hood latch location which I've see done a decent amount .

My problem is hitting the pole after the pole has hit it's limit due to the rope. I have never actually hit the rope. I never hit my pole before I put a limiting rope on it.

This is a high-Tec dyneema line and has a 6000 lbs breaking strength. I had my rigger at West Marine splice the line on the RRP and create a sweet little eyelet on the other side. Im pretty stoked on this.

I'm moved by DASA power!
Steve UK is 1000% right the ATP setup is the best I have ever seen or heard of, comes with 100% of the hardware you need to install. And is completely bombproof. I've had mine on my Freak all year and have almost broken myself in twice but the pole is as good as new! I expect many many years out off mine, you would not be disappointed!
