i can only quote two vehicles in that time frame but both have conquered the wildest reaches of the world and are still in use today. cruisrs in 64 and patrols before that. they alone were reliable enought to conquer africa because the english made land rovers were crap. the japanese manufacturing ability has always been top notch. it was racism and bad sentiment after ww2 that created the lie that japanese stuff was crap
