I got an 08' Superjet this summer and just put on a wet wolf stubby cone, WORX 228 grate, and cut the "D" in the stock ride plate without shortening it. The ski rides nose up really nice for me (6', 190lbs) and cuts hard with the "D" cutout). Turning subs are no problem! (understatement) Also, the ski will wash on you if you force it, and will also 'BITE' when you come out of the skid and it happens right NOW!!!

I have the 228 also and cut the ride plate flush with the back of the ski. I think I will drill another hole on the bracket that holds the trim ring in place to see if I can get the nose up a little more. I'm hesitant to D-cut the ride plate for now.

Hi 2Bit, one thing I liked about the "d" cut was how it calmed down the chine walk at higher speeds. Its not nearly as shaky as it was in stock form at around 35+ mph. It suits me great for river rat-ting and flat water which is all I have to play in here.

Do you think it is the "D" or just the fact that it is shorter that reduces the chine walk? I would like to try a shorty Jet Dynamics or something similar.

I should be getting my intake grate from blowsion pretty soon.... I was going to go with thier jet dynamics intake but they were out of stock so I picked up a works maxiloader intake grate.

I'll keep everyone posted on how it turns out. My 08 superjet is all stock except for the grate.

you will be much happier with the WORX. The JD is very agressive, great for racing.
