I use the liquid formula... I think it's better for a few reasons

I've always used the liquid too, never tried the gel. Figured it might be too thick or something. I just use a thin paint roller and do a couple good coats.

I just used the gel and it worked great. But once the turf touches the fiberglass it is pretty much stuck. Be careful and you will do fine.

That's why I don't get why people would want to use something that is more solid and harder to spread... (at least it seems to be). I never had, nor has anyone I know ever had issues w/ the standard liquid not staying on vertical surfaces....

the gel spreads just fine. bit thicker, but you can use a paint brush........
