I've seen Novi, Full spectrum, Blackjack, Riva etc........
Which carbs are the best value for performance recreational use.
I dont want any that are a bitch to tune, or that wont idle reasonably, or models that are over priced because of the name.
Good deal but strange the picture show the carbs sitting on 64X adapter plate and the listing says it comes with a westcoast dual carb intake with reed cages. :scratchchin:
I have a single 44 Mikuni that works just fine. I guess what I am getting at is that I want more performance. Maybe a 46 or 48 would be the hot ticket. My interest in aftermarket models is based on the desire for more performance. I can tune a carb, but I just dont want a carb that is so picky, that you are tuning more than riding.
My setup is 61x/61x
Fpp B-pipe
Msd enhancer
190 psi head
You cant go past the new novis with there new bombsite
Thats why there was so many spectrums for sale 6mths ago
because the new novis are so much better
i would go with an r&d dominator and v-force reeds
They dont have to open as far because there is more of them
therefore they are less likely to flutter up top as the angle isnt as great and allows them to easier
Also because there is more reed petals they react faster in regards to opening
