Benefits of D-Cutting stock ride plate??

What are the pros and cons of D-Cutting the stock ride plate on 91 X-2?

Do a search on D cutting a ride plate, there is a ton of info out there but basically the back of your boat will ride a bit lower (and consequently your nose higher) and your turning radius will be shortened. Your backend will also be looser meaning that you will slide around more. I'd recommend trying to find someone with a D-cut plate that you can swap with for a day and test it out.
