I have a bendix that i keep limping along. take it out, clean it, lube it, use the ski every couple weeks and its fine. if it sits for 3 - 4 weeks it just spins, no engagement. I have been doing this the last 3 seasons now.
Kind of sick of fixing it... where is the best & cheapest place to get a new one?
Also, can you really take these things apart to get the corrosion out of them? I haven't touched my ski in 3 -4 months now, so don't remember what it really looks like, but can I disassemble and get rid of the corrosion, or are they not so serviceable?
