might work for what you want it for but towing a tractor with a half ton is just idiotic! what are you gonna stop it with? do they sell and anchor to throw out the window?

not air shocks so much, but properly installed AIR BAGS, or overload springs will do what you need.

shock mounts arent generally designed to hold the entire vehicle weight.

K im almost over it, Ive just been trying to think of ways to make a hitch hauler work for my jeep cherokee but i think its just a lost cause. It would work but just seems the risks of cracking the unibody frame or even worse hah, losing by 3,000 dollar ski down the highway. The trailer works for my situation right now but if I moved to Cali Ididnt want to pay ro find a way to store my trailer, but I would have enough room for a ski on a stand.

put the darn thing in the cab fold the seats down and fush the pass seat all the way and keep the tailgate a lil open it works with a 650sx in a grand cheroke 2001 that wheel thing is gay and i have never seen one till now. so its a gimick

why would you not use the hitch hauler? I've used one on my cherokee plenty of times and for probably over 3000 miles altogether and not a single problem, it didnt weight it down hardly at all.

I know ive posted this pic a few times, but where is it sagging too much and what damage could possibly happen from it? Look how much crap is in the back of the truck too.

Something to remember is that the load capacities posted on the truck are wayyy under what they can actually handle for liability purposes.

stock springs, but its got a 3 inch body lift, and 2 inch torsion/shackle lift

look how low my shackles hang in the back.they are lowering shackles for a chevy but they lift 2wd dakotas and 4wd durangos. the torsion bars in the front are cranked 7 turns up from stock- about 1 7/8 of an inch lift

so i have 5 inches of lift, but only 2 inches of real "useable" lift.

now all i need are some 33's instead of these tiny stockers...

but 1000 in tires is not in my budget till these wear out...maybe 20,000 miles from now

Well it is good to see one on a Grand cherokee, mine is an XJ with slightly less tongue weight but I did just add a 2" add a leaf and 500lb TW rated putnam hitch. Im gonna try it regardless for the summer and see how it works, I can weld one up if I find the materials cheap. My girlfriend lives in San Francisco, So I may move to the bay either before or after I finish college, I have maybe 2 years left.
