beaching the ski's at allatoona landing

Wondering if anybody knew if that nasty beach around the island was in use by other campers at allatoona landing. I was fortunate enough to get a site P13 from an awesome X member but its right in front of the beach. Wondering if anybody new before I pissed some people off if it was okay to pull the ski's up there.

I rode by there the other day and the water is so low its almost to the island.

didnt someone in the other thread say that was a swimming beach right there " no boat traffic"

Ive also been told that the boat wakes on that main channel will make beaching difficult.

I went last weekend and wish I had on a wet suit at some points of riding, but it was windy so that didnt help. The channel that we have to ride in is very narrow, it will be hard with all those ski's and boats passing by.

yeah its not full but its not empty....i think its just a shiaty beach

I am not used to such shallow inclined beaches, 3 feet isnt a huge difference on my home lake.

still wetsuit weather as of last weekend but you can get by without one. It will be like bathwater if the temps hold by the ride

Here in NC we have been going no wetsuit for like a month now.

Alabma 150 miles dead west of Altoona-no wet suits last weekend, little chilly for the first minute or 2 then it's ok-will be warm as hell by this weekend.

I rode by the event site on Sunday...The lake is currently 2.5 feet from full or was this morning...Water is still a little chilly, but will warm up nicely as we have had temps in hi 70 and today was 85....

The island was all but covered on Sunday...
