Here are a couple pics of mine. Keep in mind that it is a couple years old and we ride every weekend. This thing is dumped in the salt water and left in it until we are done riding. Also, I am not the best on cleaning things or even just rinsing them off. It uses a stainless steel axle, bronze bushings and a couple hubs that I made out of stainless. The bolt pattern excepts standard golf cart tires that you can get for free at the golf cart shops (take offs from dry rot, leaks or just worn down). I have not replaced the wheels since I built it. Back bone is aluminum and the winch doubles as a handle for pulling it around. I can lift it by myself.
I have used a bunch of other beach totes. If you put them in a line I would pick this one every time. Definately cheap to build. Mostly just my time. Everything else was free except for the winch.
Like that one... If/when I build, it will be like that, a little higher up so if it needs to double as a work stand ! Has to have winch for solo loading.
