Battery relocation

Has anyone relocated there battry in there ski to clear a pipe? I was thinking of making a sealed box that goes under the seat... thought i would ask the question first? Jay

I was tossing this idea arround but haven't done it yet. There are some smaller batteries that will fit into the square area under the seat. Some people who have done this have complained that they have weakened the hull and it cracks. The think walls of the seat area are structural.

not sure what kind of pipe, but some guys get a wider one and put it between the engine itself and the tank
