Battery Price gouge?

Called the local ski shop for a replacement battery for the 12F. It listed at $132. Is that right?? if so Holy jesus, mary and joseph. I've never paid that much for a bettery.

What's the normal going rate for a battery? I was :lightning: to see it be that much. I checked the Battery Store and they have the Oddesy 545 but its only listed up to 04 and I have an 06.

those bigger batteries arent cheap. a lot of the big 4-stroke sleds use big batteries that retail for $150+ and even dealer cost is still well over $100

for that much, I'd just go buy a wal-mart battery.

I am feeling you there, Shawn. Its the same battery as the Ninja 12R, so I figured it wouldn't be too much. If I go cheap, I just worry about spending money constalnty replacing batteries or getting stranded on the water.

wally has a 6 month warranty with 1 month free replacement.

Every Wally battery I've bought has lasted a year or more. Knock on wood :biggrin:

I'll probably hit Wally World. Not that I like the idea but gotta save ga$ money somewhere. I only found one place online less than $105 plus shipping. If anyone has a place I can pickup something better, cheaper post away.

I've had my interstate battery for 4yrs now I think they run $60. Oh and it is a big couch it's in.

I've still got my stock battery from new...3 yrs old this summer, still works mint.
