Super Jet Battery line as fuel line

I understand the stock fuel line to be the best line. The stock battery vent line looks exactly like the fuel line to me, but it is blue.

Has anyone used this line as fuel line? What were your results?

My wife would prefer purple or blue, but I know the fuel line will change colors in a month, so I was thinking tygon, stock or something in black, but opaque blue or purple would be best, but still willing to do clear purple... Also unsure about primer line, it all changes color too.

Have had acceptable results with clear cooling so going to get that in purple.

I have used it for primer line. IIRC, the inner dia. is too small for proper fuel delivery.

really? I have 6 year old autozone fuel line in my SN
I don't know about hard, but I wave the heat gun at it and pulls right off the barbs to clean out carb and so on
I have tried various clear/colored lines and they are nothing but trouble
