Super Jet Battery charging issue!!!! Help

Have a 1990 sj I just bought for 350. Not a bad deal for how clean engine is!! Immaculate. The only problem is I took it out and the battery died after 2 or 3 trips. I took the e box apart thinking it could be rectifier. I own also a 99 sea doo gsx that when I purchased it, battery also wouldn't charge, rectifier was the culprit. No idea what to check. Only 17 any help would be highly appreciated. Fell for the sport since my first ride. Hope to keep the sport going.

Charge the battery before every ride. You may have a total loss ignition in your ski ( they don't have charging coils, that's why they're called total loss).

I'm not so sure. I've researched it. It should be charging the ski. I normally charge it before every ride. I want to put a bilge pump in it do I can take it to Daytona. My fear is that it will kill the battery and I'll be stuck in the rollers of new Smyrna
