Your leaving power on the table with such a small battery. You could probably gain another 4-5mph with a 300+ cca battery

You don't start a bike 15 times every ten minutes.

Plus bikes have good charging systems and dont get a drink of water every ride. Small batteries work OK as long as ski starts quickly. You will miss that 12LB battery when you're in the middle of the lake all by yourself with a waterlogged engine.

My buddy has been running a small Yuasa battery all season with zero issues. Motor: JM 771, stock charging system, 180 PSI.
