OK, I plan on attempting my first ones at Daytona this year. I have a stock SXR, limiting rope, and footstraps. I haven't seen a thread in this section dealing with this trick. I need some tips and hints here....Nick? :sneaky:

stay centered and use your head. im still trying to stay centered i throw it like a stab and spin out at the end and land flat.
commit! dont bail.

Keep bars low, weight forward....lead with your head.
Like they said. Keep body centered. Most people try to throw their body around when learning rolls.
Let the ski do the work and come around you.
Have your bars cranked and your throttle cranked before you leave the water. I have seen a ton of people that wait until they are arborne to try to start their rotation. The rotation needs to start as you are going up the face of the wave.

Ideally find someone on here that can do em and have them show you there. I would help you but I have not done it myself yet, Wavedemon can do it, but he is only three words more help than what deblaster would tell ya.

"you just like lean over and you know like that"

maybe all of us can get together and learn em as a group?:scratchchin:

That'd be ideal. Hey Tom, are you bringing a beach cart with you to Daytona? I am dreading lugging my SXR from trailer to water....

Just ride
the biggest thing is to just commit the whole way going up to the wave. the problem most people have is that they second guess it goin halfway up the wave, you have to just commit and throw it. don;t ride around for half the day and think and think and think and think you have to be 110% the whole way. If you roll to the left then turn real slightly to the right going up the wave then at the top of the wave crank it to the left, stay low, and kinda try to get your body in a momentum to the left and hang on. the sxr has a weak handlepole so be careful. if you land a little crooked you could crack it or snap it.
