I think it is also a great idea if it get you back on.

I don't know about them cruching either, they are using them in Rodeo nowadays. Better then takin a horn or handlebar in the face for that matter!:crutches:

only down side is that the bar ends could come through. but i think if you went into the bars face first it would stop it.

I have that helmet.... It works really well.
they use it for whitewater rafting...

This helmet didn't do much to keep the bar end from poking through my cheek. Now I am rocking freestyle face.

I am definately getting a mesh hockey helmet. It will do more to keep my eyes in my head than this huge opening would. Hopefully I can get through this stage and move on to a less funky melon case.
