Just got my X2 finished finally and I think my crank is twisted. The motor is 650 with a fresh top end and port job, west coast head and exhaust , mikuni 44 all kinds of goodies basically and I get it on the lake it want rev out but on the trail it does . So I thought it was a carb problem tuned the carb for over an hour no better. Finally said hell with it I'm going to ride it and noticed every time I slid out or had some cavitation it would rev. I have installed slalom ski footholds so i put my feet in them and would bounce the ski out of the water it would rev out fine then . I would ride it for 30 seconds and it would feel like it was bogging down so I made the pump suck air it ran again. A friend of mine said he had the same problem and it turned out to be a twisted crank. Any ideas?

Brand new port job and checked the plugs. The guy that told me it was the crank used to race X2 back in the day and said Im going to waste my time messing with the carb low and behold thats what I did yesterday. It feels like there is a rev limiter on it or as soon as the pipe loads up with water it cant push enough out to breathe . But when it cavitates it will rev for a while then back on its face.
