Back Flushes

When I am out of town I just go to the car wash and pull the hose off of the pisser from inside of the ski and put the spray wand in the hose and pull the trigger. I don't have the ski running but I also have a dry pipe and dual cooling. and it is a good place to wash off any salt water inside or out.

and itz much better to do it this way???
If you just backwash from the head with a standard flush kit you are fine. The only thing you will not be flushing is about 1.5ft of coolent line and your pisser.

True but if you flush from a fitting off the head your not building alot of pressure to really blast sand and salt and rocks out because the extra water is getting thrown out your pisser.. If you back flush from the pisser, I have seen that it clears out any extra sand that can be laying in the pic ups from the pump... I had the quik clip system and never built enough pressure to blast that little bit of sand back out to the pump... so I took the quik flush off and now backflush and it gets everything out. I though the same thing but with the clear lines you can see that sand can some times sit in there and then the next time you ride that is the first thing that gets sucked up !

come on guys, this aint rocket science.just hold your finger over the pisser while flushing:biggrin:

That's how I do it. I just T'd a standard hose fitting right into the pisser line. I screw the garden hose in and hold my finger on the pisser and I'm good.
