B1 v-force reeds and jetting

I have a blaster 1 with 701 and a mod pipe. I just bought a set of v-force delta 2 reeds and the instructions say it may require re-jetting but doesn't give a clue as to how much difference. Any one havce any experience with installing a set. Did you have to re-jet? if so how much bigger did you go.

I thaught it said in the instructions that those reeds will make it run slightly rich. Take it out and ride it and see how it acts.

The instructions I got only stated "Jetting settings may need to be adjusted" That's all it says. Anyone one out there running twin 38's with a mod pipe? What jets, needle seat, springs and pop off are you running? with or without v-force reeds. I;m currently runniing 140/70 jets 1.5 needle seat and pop off at 35. It's a dog on low end right know so I ordered 2.0 needle and seat and 72.5 low jets. Am I on the right track? I'm trying to get the pop off down to about 21

Stock popoff with 38s is 55 psi. Why are you going so low? I would stick with the 1.5 N&S, put 95g springs in there, and try a 72.5 pilot
I think your mains are too rich. Stock is 130. Running a b-pipe doesn't require 10pts richer main jets.

The FFP setting for dual 38s call for 140/70 on the jets with 115 gram springs. I tried that and it ran like crap. When I lowered the pop off, the lower end improved. (top end runs excellent) Still not right, but better. I got 72.5 jets in the mail today. I'll pop them in and and lower the mains to 130 and change the springs back to 95s. Any other suggestions? Engine is new rebuild (different motor all together, case pressure check and compression are good)and reacts the same as the old motor

Don't lower the mains just yet. Change one thing at a time.
Try 72.5 pilots with the 95 g springs and 140 pilots - see how it runs.

BTW, you were right about the jetting specs from FPP - I was thinking Superjet, not Blaster. My bad.

Just got back from the lake and I'm estatic. I've been fighting this blaster for months. It's still not perfect but I'm close. Thanks to all the great help on this site. So I though I would post my results. Keep in mind it's still not perfect but at least now it jumps out of the hole and still has great top end. I think it's a little rich in the mid range. I may drop down to a 135 main. Right now i have 62T motor twin 38's FFP mod pipe Riva fly wheel and v-force reeds. I'm running 2.0 needle and seat. 95 gram springs, 140 high and 72.5 lows

not a thread theft....related. The 760 in my Gp is using stock 1200 reeds and cages with the Riva spacer/R&D manifold.. would the V-force reed's improve this to the same degree as the 701?...
The 1200 reeds are longer than stock 760's so it is 'breathing' better already..IMT the v-force would help this set up in throttle response..As well as an all around improvement,or should I go with an add on reed like a carbon-tech,staying with my reed cages(1200's)

Any thought's ???Thank's
