B1 rear mounted waterbox?

pm godocgo. he has this setup in his blasters. i need to go to his place and see exactly whats up cause id like to do the same thing since i have a raider hull w/ full exhaust. see if he'll post the pics in this thread.

looks like a lot of work when i looked into both of my hulls. is it really that much better than, say, a riva waterbox?

Lee said he would send me a pic whenever he has a chance, I just wanted to see if anyone else is running this setup and what they thought about it.
I'm not sure about the performance gains, Lee was saying that it is the best, so I thought I'd try on one of my blasters and see what happens. I'd just like to see a pic before I go hacking things up.

So did you mount the box on the same side that the stock exhaust came out, or am I turned around?
Do you have any pictures of the hose routing from the pipe to the waterbox.
Also how does the PVC hold up? or is that just for fabing it up?

i had a factory limited pipe. the aluminum elbow that loops over and goes toward the wb i cut it off so it would aim straight to th back of ski. the left side if youre standing behind ski. the water box front nipple goes through the bulk head part .then came out went through crazy pvc i made and out the stock exit .

dunno what your trying to do but, I'm running a limited chamber in my B1 (2nd Natures old chamber I think). Anyway, I took the foam out of the nose of my B1 and installed a super jet water box in the front with front exhaust. Very simple. It is a little louder than a stock B1 but the bennifit in the surf is awsome. When you tail land the pump recovers very quickly with no motor bog. No exhaust to go into the pump and no exhaust outlet for water to put pressure on.

My second ride on the B1 this weekend and I give the nose exhaust

BTW: without the waterbox in its stock location, the B1 seems huge inside!
