ok, I am looking into getting a B1 what are the difference in the years, didn't some come with dual carbs? Anything I should know about them?

93,94,95 came w/ single carb -44mm
96 came with dual -38mms
96 stock color was ok... 93,94,95 stock paint sucks IMO
If you had to choose I guess a 96 would be a slight bit better but it really doesnt matter much....
Try to find one that already has some mods stuck in it or you will pay double for them later...
the ones with the single carbs have the 61x cases and the ones with the dual has the 62t cases...
they are fun... cool to have one as an addition to your superjet... but doubt you will ride it much... you will be on that superjet 95% of the time...

b1's are a lot of fun. all of them had 61x/61x motors except the 96 had the 6t2/61x dual carb motor. the 96 is also said to have a slightly different bottom hull.

96 w/ a big motor and pipe thats all ya need........depends where you ride, mine would bore me if i only rode inland lakes but on the great lakes its almost perfect due to the small chop conditions that are always present. On a full stand up its just a brutal ass kicking its a little nicer with extra 40lbs and fixed bars. But dont get me wrong, it def does not ride like squishy couch, the end of the day still hurts...... i really miss my big couch somedays...stupid 1-2 foot shat chop:mischievous:

I couldn't agree with you more. Lake Michigan is such a fun place to ride when the waves are big but oh my god is it tough to do for any period of time on a standup. I've seen people do it, but for me the effort vs the enjoyment just isn't worth it. I'm good for maybe 10 min and it's onto the beach for a breather. On my blaster I have just as much if not more fun and can go all day. I will admit it gets a little boring on flat water unless we've got the bouys out or big boats are consistantly cruising past.
