B1 extra hose

So I recently got my blaster and it was built for me ( i know lame build it yourself). I notice it had a hose with what looks like a nipple tip on it like you would use to put grease in on the trailer bearings. Now this could be the exhaust drain hose with just a wierd plug since I have a Factory b pipe , iI just wanted to be sure to run by you guys and check that its not some wierd oil fill for the pump or bearings.

LOL No it its held on with two bolts on the intake manifold on the side close to the bulkhead thats the grease nipple for your mid-shaft bearings! Make sure there is grease in there, I usually check it twice a year!

Hope yor liking your new ski!!!:439:

I am ,, as you can tell I am tearing it apart visually and any doubt I have I will ask here even if it makes me look stupid.... Also is it normal bearing grease you use like for the trailer? Also why doesn't my kawasaki 650 have one ,, damn noisey thing when its out of the water...lol

The old SN SJs didnt have that either, it makes things so much easier! If you dont have any good marine grease then the regular stuff will do for now. I use the good marine grease in my trailer bearings as well as the machines. The trailer goes in the water so I figures it would make sense.

Never be afraid to ask questions Bro, even if people try to bust your balls! There are people on this site that are truly masters of this stuff and are always eager to help!

I don't think that nipple actually greases your bearings, only the o-rings in the carrier. Aren't the midshaft bearings sealed?
