Super Jet b-pipe, sleeper kit & jetting dilema part 2 - help if you're up for it

Specs are: SingleCarb (61x/61x), 718 groupK sleeper (milled head, ported cylinders, modified intake, modified carb) with a b-pipe, 160 main, 140 pilot, 1.5 seat, 80 gram spring, 110 degrees F ambient temperature, 450' elevation above sea level

Finally got the jetting recommendations from groupK on my sleeper 718 with a b-pipe (added the b-pipe this year). Only problem is I cannot get the sucker dialed in. have a bog from 1/4 throttle which seems to be the engine loading up at idle to 1/4 throttle.

1) can get a good idle pretty easily from 2/3 turn out and above.
2) just above idle to 1/4 throttle seems to sputter3) bogs up to 1/4 or 1/3 throttle
3) bogs up to 1/4 or 1/3 throttle
4) after "clearing" hit's like a bat outta hell
5) adjusting idle mixture - richer seems to extend length of bog....2 turns out never cleared on a short ride

A) cannot find a configuration for the pipe screws that will give the light sizzle that factory recommends
B) I suppose this could be due to the carb being out of whack yet?

So, my thinking is my pop-off is too low or the pilot is too big.

Also could some of the bog come from the waterbox filling up at idle?

routing is: pump to b-pipe manifold, original head outlet to head pipe, head pipe to Tee, Tee to stinger and pisser. Plus an additional head outlet to another pisser. The tee'd pisser only spits at idle, but full flow above 1/4 throttle.....figured I'd try a Jetworks valve to rule this out as part of the problem.

Thanks,
hbski

pop off too low. go to the next higher spring. your venturi is most likely leaking at the throttle positions you describe loading you up. I had the same problem on my fx1 and used ffp's jetting and problem went away.

Exactly what carb are you running and what are the mods done to it? Running thru the Carb database looking at single 44 setups, your jetting specs seem very high.

Here's a couple examples pulled from this thread;

Stock or modified engine in your FX-1?
