B-pipe Question

I recently got a ski with an older style B-pipe Head pipe. Its only got 2 water jacket spots, and one seems frozen.

But the water fitting comes out in the middle ?

Did they stop making them like this because it was a problem ?
Just wondering. looks like the top fitting was broken off too.
Probly going to have to tap. but thinking that its not even
worth it if its going to be problem anyway.:confused:

I had the sameone. Its a really old SN 650 BPIPE. The headpipe opening was only 42mm, it needed to be bored out to 47mm+ to use on a 701. Mine ended up cracking after the bore though, if you look close in the pic you can see it.

My kawi pipe was like that. It had Mariner pipe instead of Factory pipe written on it and it only had two screws instead of 3. Still ripped but I never compared it to a normal one so I don't know if there was any performance difference. I remember asking something a while back about the difference between Mariner and Factory pipes too and the consensus was they are the same.

that an old pipe bro. it has the bottom hole still just no water screw. they moved it (the 3/8 fitting)to the bottem cause the weap hole gets clogged with sand.they work fine.if your seting up for low end it should be fine. mail it up to me i can fix that bad boy right up for ya.
