Super Jet B pipe question

I have been playing with the water adjustment screws and I have them set now so that the chamber is sizzling hot, should I open them up to cool it down some? The head pipe is not getting as hot as the chamber. My goal is to get more bottom end. Any help would be great. I have read a ton of posts on how to tune the bpipe but seem to be more lost from all the diffrent tuning ideas.
Thanks

you want the exhaust as hot as you can get it without melting the coupler. i would sit right around where it sizzles, maybe just under. thats where you will get the most bottom end. and if you ahvent already, upgrade the stator in the pump to something like the 12 vane for more bottom end hookup. i rode a 62t stock motor with head, hooker prop and 12 vane, and was shocked at the punch it had over a stock setup.

most guys run the bottom screw shut, middle slight open and the top more open depending on your feel and what you like best. water temps change this alot so you have to tune for where you ride as well. on my couch, i lost 3mph just from water temp changes.
