b-pipe install questions

Alright I'll submit and agree that I'm an idiot but how the heck do you install a B-pipe in a SN? I know how all the hoses hook up but I can't physically install it. When I pulled it, I remember fighting with it for a while.

It just seems like I can't install the chamber with the waterbox and engine in place but if I remove the waterbox I can't hook it up. If I remove the engine, the chamber goes in but then I can't connect the chamber to the head pipe. If I install the head pipe on the chamber, I can't get the engine back in. It's like the little ship in the glass bottle...It has plenty of room in there but no way to actually get it in there.

i hooked the chamber up to the water box then bolted the head pipe to the mainifold which was already on the engine. note: i left the coupler(rubber) on the head pipe so i could slide the chamber in. I sprayed the inside of the coupler with oil and the chamber went right in. tightend up the hose clamps. i am sure there are tons of ways, but that is how i did it. hope it helps

oh yeah my tank was out

Here's how I do it:

1. Engine is in place, tank is removed.
2. Put the chamber in.
3. Put the headpipe in.

i install mine just like matt described. i use wd-40 on new couplers. it gets plenty oily just having 2 stroke oil around it while riding.

not to hi-jack but MATT-E your jetting/needle seat advice you gave me was spot on. i didn't even have to adjust anything from what you told me and the plugs look like they get a perfect burn. thanks man

I guess having the coupler on the chamber was the problem. Once I took that off, it would allow the chamber to slide back a little farther and I could life the front of the chamber rotate the waterbox hose onto it. Hopefully I can get the coupler back on now.
