b pipe help

okay so we put a bpipe on my 94 superjet and now it hesitates really bad and will bog and shut off sometimes. do i just adjust the water screws and hi - low speed screws on the carb? or do i needa rejet? please any help or just tell me how to get it to run rite. the water outa the pisser is super super hot btw please help i need it fixd b4 a big ride saturday

x2. You need to install different jets in your carb, a different popoff spring, and tune the low and high adjusters.
A pipe is not a "bolt on and go" part.

nevermind i found them on rivaracing.com i got a 145, 140 n 150 main then a 115 120 125 pilot then for springs a 80 gram 95 gram and 115 gram will this b good?

I have been having the exact same symptoms as mentioned by 94superjetriverrat..(03 SJ, dual carb) I have already changed jets and pop off spring to match FP's instructions and still have the same problem. My next step is to change the needle and seat and if that doesn’t work im lost. Can changing the needle and seat make a big difference? Or I can go to a 80 gram pop off spring. Changing to a 95 made no difference on my ski

FP Limited pipe, and ada head (35cc) and AM filters are my only motor mods. Ski starts fine, idles fine, horrible low end bog. I really have to feather the gas to keep it running Wants to stall constantly from idle to 1/4 throttle, anything above 1/2 throttle and the ski rips!

Sounds like it might be rich on the low speed screws. How do you have them set? Also, when was the last time you did a rebuild on the carbs? If its been a while you may want to rebuild them and replace the needle/seats.

The specs provided by Factory Pipe are recommendations to get you close. Engine, altitude, temperature all play a part in carb tuning. FFP recommendations on my wetpipe were not good for my SXR in Phoenix. They worked well for others on the East Coast. Set it to their specs and tune from there. You may have to change pop off, NS, or jet up/down. It sucks that you are in a rush to ride this weekend but take the opportunity to learn how to tune your carbs.

just found out that the jets recommended by factory pipe are what the stock jets are lol

Eh....stock jetting for a 94 Superjet is a 115 pilot and 135 main.
Factory pipe recommended jetting is 120 pilot and 145 main.
