Our local group of guys met on the river and had about the best time of any ride all summer. The river is usually really calm Except the occasional boat. Today we met some boaters and steveowe talked it up and they filled their balast and let us play on there waves for 1-2 hours. They were really cool boaters. Its nice to meet random BOAT people that like to see standup skis doing there thing. They were throwing 3-4 footers non stop for us and boozing it up on board. Where we are at we are lucky to get a couple good waves a ride, today they were perfect and predictable the entire time.
Had one ski have one problem from landing on his side and blowing off a hood towards the end of the day (yes it went under but we manage to drag it back to shore in a timely manner and get it going) Thats seals the deal, I need hood straps...
